Abstract
This paper advocates strengthening the role of primary health care in health promotion by bridging cultures in Aboriginal health. It encourages health care providers to consider the need for cross-cultural awareness in order to provide more effective health promotion. It suggests a number of strategies for overcoming structural barriers and individual factors which may hinder positive personal and professional cross-cultural communications.Mesh：
