Abstract
Heart tumors in children are rare and consist primarily of nonneoplastic hamartomas (rhabdomyoma and fibroma) that may spontaneously regress. Despite the lack of aggressive growth potential, these tumors may result in significant morbidity as well as mortality based on size and location in the heart. Other rare tumors, including histiocytoid cardiomyopathy, hemangioma, germ cell tumors, and sarcomas, may occur in children in the heart and are discussed.Entities:
