[Retentive effects between acrylic buildups and titanium root posts with and without silane coating].

Coating titanium root posts with silane increases the adhesive bond to an acrylic buildup material by a mean 50%. Adding an opaquer enhances this bond by another approx. 15%. The best results are observed with post-retained Adaptic buildups when the posts are coated both with silane and an opaquer.
