Abstract
With rare exceptions, angiomyolipomas can be distinguished from malignant renal masses by the presence of macroscopic fat within the mass. We report 2 cases in which preoperative imaging with computed tomography was interpreted as diagnostic for angiomyolipoma, but the final pathologic analysis revealed clear cell renal cell carcinoma.Entities:
