Abstract
Gastric polyps can be broadly defined as luminal lesions projecting above the plane of the mucosal surface. They are relatively frequent in routine pathology practice, where the main goal is to rule out the possibility of malignancy. Various subtypes of gastric polyps are recognized and generally divided into nonneoplastic and neoplastic. We will review herein only a limited subset of gastric polyps representing the most common or, sometimes, challenging.Entities:
