Abstract
Prospectively collected data were analyzed comparing surgically and peritoneoscopically placed peritoneal dialysis catheters in 88 patients. Peritoneoscopically placed catheters were found to survive longer than surgically placed ones. Rates of exit site infection and pericatheter leaks were found to be similar with both techniques.Entities:
