Abstract
This study presents the third case in the literature of a urethral diverticulum after the tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) procedure, with an additional finding of the diverticulum developing distal to the tape. A 54-year-old woman, with 3 years' status post-TVT, presented with urinary tract infection and infravesical obstruction. Urethrocystoscopy revealed a urethral diverticulum just distal to the sling site. Transvaginal diverticulectomy and excision of the sling was done, with improvement of symptoms at 1-year follow-up.Entities:
