Abstract
Penetrating oropharyngeal trauma (OPT) is common in young children. Complications are rare but can be severe and with delayed onset. Controversy exists about the evaluation and management of OPT, although most injuries in the stable child can be managed in the outpatient setting. Two pediatric OPT cases and a brief review of the literature are presented.Entities:
