CT fluoroscopy-guided postmyelographic transthecal radiofrequency ablation of a posterior vertebral body osteoid osteoma.

Abstract

The present case report describes a unique case of radiofrequency (RF) ablation of an osteoid osteoma in the inferoposterior paramedian region of the L5 vertebral body. After computed tomographic (CT) myelography, CT fluoroscopy was used to guide the transthecal approach of the RF ablation procedure.
