Abstract
Metastatic tumors to the brain presenting exclusively in the choroid plexus are rare and are most frequently associated with renal cell carcinoma. In this paper, the authors report an unusual case of intraventricular metastasis, and to the authors' knowledge, this is the first case of solitary metastasis from oesophageal carcinoma to the choroid plexus to be described in the literature. Metastatic disease is an important differential diagnosis which must be considered even for a patient without a documented primary malignancy who presents with a single lesion in the ventricle.Entities:
