Abstract
The merits of using a small silicone drain in general thoracic surgery have been reported recently; however, the pain caused by tension from its fixation with a suture or staple, and by its subsequent removal, can impede recovery after surgery. We describe a painless method of chest tube fixation and removal achieved using an adhesive film and a wound care dressing.Entities:
