Lymphocyte antigen receptors: a common design?

F Koning1.

Abstract

A recent flurry of papers has provided detailed information on the components of the T- and B-cell antigen receptors. Although these individual elements, and the subunits they form, clearly differ, Frits Koning argues that the T- and B-cell receptor complexes may share a common underlying design.
