Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is the second leading cause of preventable illness worldwide and arguably the most important neglected topic in bioethics. This paper 1) explains the ethical importance of TB, 2) documents its neglect in bioethics discourse, 3) maps the terrain of ethical issues associated with TB, and 4) calls for ethicists, activists and socially concerned health professionals to raise and debate the full range of ethical issues associated with TB.Entities:
