Abstract
Although carpal tunnel release relieves symptoms for most patients, there are certain patients who fail to respond to this surgery. This article reviews the complications that may follow carpal tunnel surgery and discusses surgical techniques to correct the symptoms. The author emphasizes the need for increased awareness of the complexity of carpal tunnel surgery and the peripheral nerve procedures that can provide reliable improvement in affected patients.Entities:
