Abstract
This study was undertaken to examine the annual natural tuberculin conversion rate amongst national school children in the Western Health Board region. The health records of all school children were reviewed for the period 1980-86 inclusive. An average annual conversion [corrected] rate of 1.8% was found with a range of 1.5%-0.7%. Less than 0.6% of the children had a significant reaction (greater than grade 2) in any year.Entities:
