Abstract
The authors describe a case of Poland syndrome in a ventilator-dependent premature infant with severe chest wall deformities treated during the neonatal period with a prosthetic titanium mesh. The implant significantly improved lung volume and provided stabilization of the chest wall allowing for weaning from ventilator, extubation, and discharge of the patient.Entities:
