Abstract
Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute, self-limiting vasculitis that occurs in children of all ages, which was first described by Kawasaki in 1967. The fatal complication of KD is coronary artery involvement resulting in coronary artery aneurysms. We report on two adult cases with coronary artery aneurysms secondary to childhood KD who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) using multiple arterial grafts. There have been few reports of cardiovascular surgery in adult survivors of KD.Entities:
