Abstract
Lipid and lipoprotein spectrum of the blood plasma was investigated and phenotyping of hyperlipoproteinaemias was carried out in men exposed to ionizing radiation and suffered from acute radiation illness as a result of the Chernobyl accident. An increase of the total cholesterol triglycerides and content frequency of atherogenic types of hyperlipoproteinaemias in comparison with average levels of population both a year and 3 years after irradiation was observed. No essential differences were found between the obtained indices 1 and 3 years after irradiation which testified to the stability of the revealed disturbances.Entities:
