Abstract
The growing use of cocaine among pregnant women and its effects on the fetus have attracted national attention. Increasing amounts of data are now available showing the specific negative obstetric, perinatal and neonatal complications. This review examines specific aspects of cocaine use during pregnancy, including pharmacology, effects on pregnancy and childbirth, perinatal and neonatal outcome, and detection of drug use.Entities:
