Abstract
A case is described of traumatic herniation of the buccal pad of fat intraorally in a 4-year-old boy, which presented as a soft pedunculated swelling projecting from the buccal mucosa at occlusal level. The herniated fat was removed under general anaesthesia. The aetiology and treatment of the condition are discussed.Entities:
