Abstract
A concatenated DNA fragment containing a five-repeat binding site was used for DNase I footprinting. Under the same conditions, the tandem repeat assay greatly enhanced the DNA footprint as compared with a native DNA sequence with only one binding site. This technique provides an approach for improving poor DNA footprints.Mesh:
