Abstract
Although some temporomandibular joint problems require surgical intervention, nonsurgical modalities are essential in the treatment of most joint afflictions, including internal derangements, inflammatory conditions, and arthritides. These approaches are crucial for presurgical management of these conditions and are an important adjunct in postsurgical care.Year: 2006 PMID: 18088834 DOI: 10.1016/j.coms.2006.03.002
