Pectoralis major myocutaneous flap.

Abstract

The pectoralis major myocutaneous flap is a versatile and predictable transfer of soft tissue for the reconstruction of avulsive and ablative defects of the oral and maxillofacial region. This article reviews preoperative considerations, surgical anatomy, technique, and possible complications related to the development of this flap.
