Abstract
Intracranial hypotension is a syndrome of low cerebrospinal fluid pressure with a variable clinical presentation ranging from postural headaches to coma. A number of neuroradiologic techniques are now available to aid in the diagnosis of this syndrome (CT, MRI, radioisotope cisternography and CT myelography), each showing specific radiographic abnormalities. In this report, we present a case of intracranial hypotension secondary to baclofen pump placement. We review the major clinical findings, neuroimaging abnormalities, key diagnostic features as well as treatment options. (c) 2007 S. Karger AG, BaselEntities:
