Abstract
Mx proteins are interferon-induced members of the dynamin superfamily of large GTPases. They inhibit a wide range of viruses by blocking an early stage of the replication cycle. Studies in genetically defined mouse strains highlight their powerful action in early antiviral host defence.Entities:
