Abstract
Several incidences of excessive bone growth beneath the pontics of posterior fixed partial dentures have been documented, and this phenomenon has been referred to as subpontic osseous hyperplasia. The clinical, radiographic, and microscopic features are discussed, including the presentation of several etiologies and treatment considerations.Entities:
