Abstract
A 19-year-old girl presented with a severely impacted left mandibular second molar. After the surgical-orthodontic assessment, skeletal anchorage with a miniplate was adopted to keep the impacted tooth upright. The treatment went smoothly and was successful. We conclude that the miniplate as skeletal anchorage is effective in the management of severely impacted mandibular second molars.Entities:
