Abstract
The authors report a case of emphysematous pyelonephritis that was successfully treated with radiologically guided percutaneous drainage. This case illustrates that in certain patients with focal abnormalities, functioning renal tissue can be salvaged and emphysematous pyelonephritis can be eradicated with a combination of antibiotics and radiologically guided percutaneous drainage.Entities:
