Abstract
Despite the increased popular attention that sexual dysfunction has received in the recent past, more often than not physicians and their patients remain avoidant of the topic in clinical visits. The patient hesitancy in this dynamic suggests that clinicians can best serve their patients by routinely initiating discussions about sexual function during clinical visits. In this article, we provide an overview of the female sexual dysfunctions and address screening and treatment options.Entities:
