Abstract
Renal artery pseudoaneurysm leading to life-threatening hematuria can occur after a surgical procedure such as pyelolithotomy, albeit rarely. With recent advances in transarterial embolization techniques, this minimally invasive procedure has become the treatment of choice, replacing surgery. We present a case of massive hematuria due to renal artery pseudoaneurysm developing after pyelolithotomy that was managed with percutaneus thrombin injection directly into the pseudoaneurysm.Entities:
