Abstract
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) is the chemotherapy following gastrectomy, and is planned from the beginning of diagnosis of gastric cancer. In this paper, the rationale, disadvantages, indications and several ongoing trials are described. At present, there is no clear evidence of the utility of NAC for gastric cancer, but its benefits will be proved in the near future by RCT.Entities:
