Abstract
A 46-year-old man had a large noncalcified tumor in the wall of the thoracic esophagus narrowing its lumen by projection of numerous firm nodular masses. The pathologic diagnosis was chondrosarcoma. Malignant degeneration of a tracheobronchial cartilaginous remnant is the main consideration in this first recorded case of esophageal chondrosarcoma.Entities:
