Abstract
A new suturing method for sulcus fixation of posterior chamber lenses is described. This technique involves using a 28-gauge hollow-bore needle on an insulin syringe and a straight suture needle carrying 10-0 polypropylene. Both of these needles penetrate the eye wall in ab externo fashion, with measurements guiding their insertion. This technique promotes reproducible suture placement and reliable sulcus fixation of the implant.Entities:
