Abstract
Longevity studies in four rat strains, Han:WIST, Han:SPRD, DA/Han, and BDII/Han are surveyed. These animals were kept under specified pathogen free conditions in the same animal house under the same maintenance conditions from weaning to natural death. Genetic and pathologic influences on longevity of these four strains are summarized.Entities:
