Abstract
Oral lichen planus, pemphigus vulgaris, and mucosal pemphigoid represent a triad of oral mucosal diseases that may be first evaluated or examined by a dental practitioner. This article examines the clinical features, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnostic considerations, and therapeutic options of these three conditions. Treatment considerations and the dentist's role in the overall scheme of management or referral are discussed.Entities:
