Abstract

Microtubule tethering at cell junctions, as studied by light microscopy (Ligon and Holzbaur, Traffic 2007;8:808-819), exist as easily recognizable ultrastructural entities that are distinct from adherence junctions. Here, we encourage systematic analysis of cortical microtubule capture by electron microscopy.
