Abstract
Urachal carcinoma accounts for less than 1% of bladder cancers. The preferred treatment is wide local excision with partial or radical cystectomy. Two patients who presented with urachal carcinoma underwent laparoscopic partial cystectomy with en bloc resection of the urachus and bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy as a less morbid, minimally invasive surgical alternative. Laparoscopic excision was successfully carried out in two cases with an uneventful convalescence.Entities:
