Abstract
A 53-year-old male who had previously undergone an open gastric bypass (Capella-Fobi) developed a gastrogastric fistula during the late postoperative course. Because he regained weight and had a stomal ulcer difficult to control, it was decided to submit him to revisional surgery. At laparotomy, a retrogastric approach plus gastroscopy permitted easy identification and closure of the fistula. The patient is doing well and losing weight after this reoperation.Entities:
