[Biological markers in spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage].

P Delgado1, J Alvarez Sabín, J Montaner.

Abstract

After intracerebral hemorrhage, some molecular processes, such as coagulation cascade activation and neuroinflammation appear which leads to a secondary brain damage. All this has a poor life and functional prognosis in many of the patients. This paper aims to review the literature available regarding these processes and the use of biological markers that make it possible to obtain better knowledge and management of this disease.
