Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify prospectively the prevalence of unnecessary or inappropriate fluoroquinolone prescriptions in our teaching hospital and to identify the contributing factors. 55% of the 110 prescriptions evaluated were unnecessary or inappropriate. Ward and combination therapies were significantly associated with misuse.Entities:
