Abstract

The synthesis and structure of a Zn-Zn-bonded compound supported by a doubly reduced alpha-diimine ligand, [Na(THF)2]2 x [LZn-ZnL] (L = [(2,6-(i)Pr2C6H3)N(Me)C]2(2-)) are reported, with a Zn-Zn bond length of 2.399(1) angstroms.
