Abstract
Polyphosphazenes are emerging as a new class of macromolecules that have an obvious future as technological elastomers, films, fibers, and textile treatment agents. However, they also possess almost unique attributes for use in biomedicine as reconstructive plastics or as drug-carrier molecules.
