Abstract
Conditioned medium from cultured aortic smooth-muscle cells from rat aorta yielded neurite-extending effects on sensory and sympathetic ganglia of chick embryos. These effects were blocked by adding specific antiserum against 2.5S nerve growth factor (NGF), suggesting that NGF might be released from vascular smooth-muscle cells.Entities:
