Haemorrhage in intradiploic haemangioma mimicking extradural haematoma.

Abstract

Traumatic haemorrhage in a previously occult intradiploic haemangioma in an elderly lady resulted in clinical and computer tomographic (CT) appearances mimicking an extradural haematoma. Literature relevant to this rare situation is briefly discussed.
