Abstract
Steroid hormone-synthesizing tumors are rare and may be difficult to diagnose and treat. This article focuses on adrenal tumors as models for the even less common tumors of the ovary and testes, and emphasizes useful diagnostic procedures and pitfalls as well as treatment options. Ovarian and testicular steroidogenic tumors are categorized and discussed in terms of the generalizations that can be derived from adrenal neoplasia.Entities:
