Abstract
Cell-cycle-regulated transcription is a characteristic feature of complex cell cycles in organisms as divergent as yeasts and humans. Increasing evidence suggests that transcriptional regulation may control key events in the eukaryotic cell cycle. In this review we will address the mechanisms that may regulate transcription during the cell cycle and the roles which periodic transcription may serve in the control of cell cycle progression.Entities:
