Abstract
The main paleopositions that have been proposed for Madagascar are examined after a recent geological and geophysical survey in the Mozambique Channel. Results from that survey show a north-south ridgelike feature and favor the theory that Madagascar fitted against Somalia rather than against Mozambique to the west.Year: 1971 PMID： 17745740 DOI： 10.1126/science.174.4008.488
