Abstract
A report that low permeability could cause gross errors in psychrometric determinations of water potential in leaves has not been confirmed. No measurable error from this source could be detected for either of two types of thermocouple psychrometer tested on four species, each at four levels of water potential. No source of error other than tissue respiration could be demonstrated.Entities:
