Abstract
Infants with respiratory distress commonly present to a pediatric emergency department. There are rare but serious conditions that need to be considered in the differential diagnosis. We report the history of an infant that presented to our institution with respiratory distress ultimately diagnosed with a mesenchymal hamartoma of the chest wall. The presentation, diagnosis, and treatment options for mesenchymal hamartoma are discussed.Entities:
