Abstract
Three patients, a 2-year-old girl, a 14-month-old girl, and a 15-month-old boy, were admitted with multiple episodes of benign afebrile seizures. Electroencephalograms recorded 1 or 2 days after the last seizure revealed epileptiform discharges. All 3 patients developed a fulminant Rotazyme-positive diarrhea toward the end of their respective hospital stay. The prospects of immunological detection in diagnosis and treatment are discussed.Entities:
